The program offers Charles County's working women a well-earned day of relaxation, entertainment, and most importantly, an opportunity to learn how to deal with the changes they have experienced on the job and in their personal lives. Business exhibits, mini-seminars and a fashion show will make this a professional training experience as well as an opportunity for reassessment as we observe the progress made by contemporary working women.

In order to reward our unsung heroines, one attendee is chosen to be the "Working Woman of the Year." Each employer is asked to tell us about those special employees that they feel deserve to be “Working Woman of the Year”.  The Chamber's Working Woman's Appreciation Day Committee will judge each nominee individually and make a selection.
