MISSION STATEMENT The Charles County Chamber of Commerce provides leadership in supporting and promoting the free enterprise system through business development, education, and sound ethical values for the benefit of our members and our communities. The Charles County Chamber of Commerce is a private, not-for-profit organization of more than 750 member businesses and business representatives. It was founded in 1956, and is the largest private business organization in Southern Maryland. The chamber is governed by a 23-member board of directors and an eight-member executive committee. Its programs and services are carried out by a paid staff of five and 15 committees comprised of more than 100 energetic volunteers. | | | | |
